Razer Viper v2 Pro Wirekess not working

Hello, i have a razer viper v2 pro. I updated the frimware that was suggested in Razer Synapse after that my mouse stopped working in wireless mode. Also i see that it is recognized as a keyboard not a mouse. I dont have Blackwidow V3 Mini

I’m here to help. I understand that your Razer Viper V2 Pro was detectetd as Razer BlackWidow V3 Mini HyperSpeed after the firmware update. Here are some steps you can try to resolve these problems:

  1. Restart the Mouse and PC. Sometimes, a simple restart can fix connectivity issues. Disconnect the mouse, turn it off, wait a few seconds, and then reconnect it.
  2. Make sure the wireless dongle is securely plugged into your computer. If you have access to another USB port, try moving the dongle there.
  3. Perform clean re-installation of Razer Synapse here.
  4. If possible, connect the mouse using the USB cable to see if it’s recognized correctly. This can help determine if the issue is specifically related to wireless functionality.
  5. Check Device Manager: Open Device Manager (you can search for it in the start menu) and see if the mouse is listed under "Mice and other pointing devices." If it's showing up as a keyboard, try right-clicking and selecting "Uninstall device," then disconnect and reconnect the mouse.
  6. Download the Razer USB HyperSpeed Dongle Utility in this article and follow the instruxtion to re-pair mouse with wireless USB dongle.
