I saw some other similar complaints but nothing to actually solve the issue I am having. So I have the USB C ran from my computer directly to the little dongle holder that came with the Viper. In the middle of use it just stopped working so I figured the mouse must’ve died but I did note that I didn’t get a low battery notification from synapse.

I plugged the USB-C directly into the mouse and the little red sensor light came on but is much dimmer than usual and synapse wasn’t recognizing the mouse and after checking my device manager it doesn’t seem my PC is recognizing it either. That same port still is working for other devices and changing ports doesn’t fix the problem. Using a different USB cord doesn’t fix the problem.

Another detail that might be important is that after holding the power button, the sensor light comes on but is very dim as previously mentioned, but it does not stay on for more than a minute unless plugged in.

I updated the firmware for the dongle but it couldn’t update the mouse as it seems not to be able to detect the mouse.

Also as I was writing this the mouse randomly worked after plugging it directly into the USB for approximately 3 seconds and then all of my razer lights flashed and it quit working again.
