My razer viper v3 pro just wont turn on, the led wont flash, or anything at all, whenever i plug it into my pc it doesn’t work either, ive had the mouse for a couple months with 0 issues, it didnt start until last night i updated windows and shut down my pc and i woke up this morning and now it just wont work at all, ive tried plugging it into a different pc with different chords including the usb-c chord that it came with and ive had no luck.  Side note: I also had this problem with the viper v2 pro where the wireless dongle wont work so i have to use it wired which is why i decided to upgrade

This has just happened to me, switched my pc on for the first time today and nothing. Dongle has no power, mouse has no power but the usb ports and cable is working fine. I bought the mouse less than 2 months ago…

Thats good to hear. How did the mouse end up working?

As of now, mine doesn't charge nor have any lights on the dongle or the mouse and won’t turn on.

Did you just keep trying to turn it on?

Ignoring the dongle, the light won’t display on there as it’s the mouse that’s the issue. Almost like it’s not pairing and can’t find it I assume?

I was plugging the mouse directly into the pc, shutting down the pc and restarting. On startup I was holding the power button on the bottom of the mouse for 2 seconds intermittently until I seen signs of life via the light on the top. If windows boots and still no light flashes, I would open razer synapse (fresh profile) with windows key and search. Then attempting the 2 second button push while synapse is booting. Sometimes this wouldn’t work and I’d start again from windows restart but allow 10 minutes after shut down to let the power drain. This actually only worked for me in the mornings when there was no power activity for some hours.

When I first got the mouse back on, it still wasn’t pairing with the dongle and windows was displaying an error message “USB Device not recognised - The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned and Windows does not recognise it.” but I was persistant and now it’s all on and working for 2 days. I’m just scared to turn it off but I will still return to to Razer once the new one arrives.

If it helps, the mouse was plugged into the usb port on my front panel.

To make the situation worse. Razer has provided me with a shipping label that no courier will take. Any courier that I’ve taken the defective unit to has scanned the shipping label they’ve provided to be told that the label does not have digital shipping clearance. This is now prolonging my 14 day period to get a refund on the replacement unit.

For “award winning support” this is actually terrible service with 2/3 day reply’s that aren’t actually helping. I feel like I’m being scammed by a multimillion dollar company.
