Ive had this controller just over 3 years now, always babied it, as in always put the USB cover on when it went in the case when travelling, cleaning it regularly and just trynna take care of it.
was playing Forza Motorsport using M5 and M6 to upshift and downshift, all was working fine, was in 1st and then pitted, upon coming out of the pits though the M5 and M6 became unresponsive, i immediately went to Steam and to the controller input map in settings and showed that indeed those buttons are not sending any signal. Also no that i ever used them however the 4 buttons at the bottom for mic and profile settings no longer work also.
Now, this controller is obviously void of warranty and it has to be a wild coincidence to the timing of the buttons failing, however i would like to know what i can do, does razer send replacement parts or should i replace the controller completely, would 100% buy this controller again its amazing just dont want to spend the money if i dont have to. I have fixed the issue, i dont know how however the buttons unmapped them selfs, i went into settings remapped the buttons and the controller works good as new, except the profile buttons thats okay though.
