Razer wolverine v2 chroma boot looping

So I bought a razer wolverine v2 chroma for my series console a few hours ago, the controller itself was working perfectly until I opened the razer controller setup for xbox, I downloaded the latest update for the controller as the app suggested and then the controller started boot looping with the app displaying the following: connect a controller to get started. If I turn off the Xbox and turn it back on the controller works as it should but I can’t use app as it is basically bricking the controller.

Hey renosvg and fozan1072! Apologies for the inconvenience. Razer is aware of this behavior, and our devs are working on a fix that will be available via the Razer Controller Setup for Xbox. In the meantime, a PC firmware will be available in a few days to recover the affected units. You may visit the Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma's support page from time to time too.
