razer wont ship my laptop


I placed an order on September 14th for a laptop and a thunderbolt 4 dock not realizing that the dock was a pre order. Razer is refusing to ship the two items separately and is holding my laptop for over a month until the tiny accessory is released. 
 

how common is this to hold the main item for that long vs two separate shipments. 
 

even razers own shipping guide states that they will ship items out as they are available and yet they refuse to do so and keep saying it must ship together. They won’t cancel my order, they won’t ship me the main item separately and I feel like I’m being held hostage by a crappy company and regretting ever deciding to buy this laptop.
