RazerBlade 14" (2016) IO issues. | Razer Insider

TLDR: Razerblade no longer sees IO devices (Webcam and Touch Screen) in device manager and IO drivers don't see the laptop as a blade device and wont even open.

I know this is a long shot since the laptop is so old but it's seen minimal use and I'd hate to just toss it. My husband bought the laptop new from Razer when it launched, started having issues within a year and decided it wasn't worth the headache and never touched it again. Years later here I am just looking to use it for video calls when I can't be at my desktop.

After a factory reset and full reinstall of windows and all the drivers we could dig up we are coming up empty handed.

The laptop no longer sees the built in webcam or touch screen. Neither of them show up in the device manager to even get access to them to update drivers. It's like they just don't exist. There was a driver on the Razer site for IO devices and the installer refused to even run stating "The installer is for blade devices only and will now close." So the drivers don't even see the laptop as a Razerblade at this point.

ANY help that points in the right direction would be appreciated. THANKS!
