Razerbook 13 screen glitches when watching videos

Hi! i recently bought a razerbook, and have been loving it! however, i have been having a consistent problem.

when i first got it, i had some problems with video flickering and at one point the video would like scroll? but i updated the driver, and it seemed to resolve itself.

Now, im having an issue where when im watching netflix, sometimes the task bar will multiply and fill up the entire screen, and i use the touch screen to click away to a different tab and when i click back its fine. it also will glitch? i have no idea how to describe it other than it looks like what a tv show would do to show a computer is getting hacked. (i know im not getting hacked by the way lol, but its the way the screen glitches thats similar) again, i can click away with the touchscreen to a new or different tab and when i click back, its fine. until it does it like 10-20 minutes later. its only when watching videos in chrome this happens. im on windows 10 and dont really have a desire to update to 11, and again, everything else works perfect.

if anyone has any possible solutions or answers, please please let me know!

That’s a bummer. Did you already try any steps yet? You can start with the workarounds here for further isolation. If the same issue persists, PM me the serial number so I can validate its model and check our other options. Thank you!

hi, i had tried doing the optional update there because i was scared to do the bios update. it got better, but didn’t completely work so i said fuck it and followed the steps for the bios update. now the bar is full and not doing anything. i haven’t touched it because i know if i do something wrong i could brick it.

the reason i went to the community threads is because the warranty on this laptop is expired and it said i wasn’t able to contact free support.

my last reply isn’t showing up for me, but basically i did the bios update, but the progress bar is stuck at full and isn’t doing anything. i know not to restart or anything but i’m like. a little worried that i could brick my laptop.
