razor blackshark v2 x not being picked up on my pc

as the title says I bought the headset today and seeing how it only came with the y splitter axis I plugged them into their corresponding holes. After doing that I search and it appears my computer isn't registering my headset for some reason. was wondering if there's anyone who can help.

    Since you have an analog headset, it will communicate directly with your computer's sound card. It should appear as Realtek or something similar in the Windows Sound Settings. Do test the headset on a smartphone to make sure that it works.
