Razor Blade Advanced 15 (2021) high pitched fan noise even with just browser

I've just updated from a Razer blade 15 Advanced (2018) late to a Razor Blade Advanced 15 (2021) and even with just a browser open the fan is extremely whiny and high pitched. My old razer doesn't do this, as a test in synapse I set the fan speed to manual and raised it all the way up, my old one just sounds like wind, but this one has a really high-pitched dog-whistle type sound that is giving me a headache. Are all razer blade advanced 15 like this? Is there any way I can avoid this? I just opened the box and was prompted to install an updated driver in the already included GeForce experience app.
