Razor Ripsaw HD no Mic audio. ut can hear everything else

Hello, I've recently purchased my Razor Ripsaw HD Capture Card. Ive followed all physical instructions on what goes where. I have video in 1080p(even though it says I can use 4k but doesn't tell me how) I have it connected to pc and my Xbox series X. I have figured out how to get audio from games, party chat. But its not picking up my mic, and I still dont ha e game chat audio. Just party audio. I've looked up and down many different post, youtube videos and tutorials. And I can't seem to figure out what im doing wrong. Ive set my video capture device on OBS to Razor Ripsaw HD HDMI. And my audio input I've swapped back and forth between microphone (Razor Ripsaw HD, Razor Ripsaw HD HDMI) and no mic audio or game chat audio coming through. Ive also set between both direct sound and wave out on the Audio Output Mode. Still nothing. I have a friend who can use his controller  and his headset and it picks up his voice and audio perfectly. I had him try and walk me through it and we've  had no luck. Back to square one. Please help.
