Razor Seiren Mini not working, no sound, pc is detecting it.

Seiren Mini is being detected by my PC and Apps (twitch studio, discord, audacity), but no sound is being picked up when testing for sound. I ensured the Apps do have permission to access my mic.  I have restarted my pc, I have plugged the mic into different usb’s.  My razer camera mic works fine but the seiren mini does not.

 

**The only time sound gets picked up is when the microphone is moved around.  It only pics up a tapping or sound of movement not voice or other sounds.

 

I’ve tried:

  • Permissions
  • Uninstall/Reinstall Drivers
  • Uninstall and Restart
  • Uninstall, unplug, restart, plug back in.
  • Sound/Recording Settings
  • Devices Settings

Hi @technolifeSlateBlue973,

 

Is the problem isolated to your PC, or does it also persist on other devices/PCs you test the mic with? If it does, it’s more likely a hardware problem. You can PM me the serial number so I can verify its model and options for a warranty claim. Thanks!
