Hello Razor Support,
I bought the Viper Mini mouse in December 2022. From last 4-5 days, my mouse is experiencing "scroll jump" issues. I send my product to Service Center from where I received the mail that Viper Mini is discontinued and I should purchase a new Razor Cobra by paying more INR 1,000/-.
My product is still in warranty, why should I "buy" a new one? I need a solution for this? I need my mouse asap as most of my work needs help of a mouse.

All Razer mouses have 2 years of limited warranty. I think they shouldn’t charge for a replacement since Viper Mini is EOL.

True, I had a long call with ACROMA (service center for Razor) for same, and shamelessly they are giving me 2 options: 

1. Pay INR 1,000 for Cobra (they will obviously not give me back my Viper Mini)

2.  They will send me DeathAdder Essentials, which is way less than Viper Mini in worth.

I received your PM and I’m sorry to hear about this experience. Please note that India is not part of our shipping network due to logistic concerns, and Acro Engineering as our local distributor will be the one who will assist you with warranty claims.

Regarding the replacement, there are circumstances in which the original device is out of stock, and providing an alternative is the best option. If you opt for the original one, they need to request new stock, and we don't have visibility on it. Since the defective device is already on RMA, we suggest you continue to coordinate with them about this matter. Stay safe!
