Recent Issues With Razer Blade 15

I got a 2020 Razer Blade 15" Base Edition (model number RZ09-03287E22) maybe half a year ago and within the past month or so its performance has dropped rather significantly, I'm noticing a number of games that used to run perfectly fine are experiencing heavy lag. This varies based on the game, Shipbreaker and others are having consistent and constant slowdown while other games such as Vermintide 2 and Resident Evil Village are having spikes of lag every 10-30 seconds ending with the game speeding up, I suppose to "catch up" to where it should be. Changing the graphics very rarely has any impact. I don't know if maybe I've screwed up the software somehow or if something has gone wrong with the hardware but I'm rather certain given this computers specifications it should be able to run these things fine, and in fact did at one point. If anyone has any suggestions on how I might be able to fix this, please let me know.
