Relationship Between Synapse and THX Spatial Audio (Using BlackShark V2 Pro 2023)

I have set Synapse to "disable" in the startup programs, and when I booted my PC, I felt that the sound was too quiet. As far as I know, the BlackShark V2 Pro (2023) can still use the custom equalizer even if Synapse is turned off, which is why I tried excluding it from the startup programs.

The bigger reason is that when Synapse is running, I experience significant lag during games. The difference when toggling Synapse on and off is quite noticeable. Additionally, it unexpectedly pushes my CPU usage to 100% and consumes around 500MB of RAM.

However, the important point is that when I use Synapse, the headset sound becomes louder again, and I suspect this is due to the THX Spatial Audio feature.
But I am using THX Stereo and do not utilize spatial audio.

I want to turn off Synapse, but if I do, the sound is too quiet. Does THX Spatial Audio require Synapse to function?

If it is necessary to use Synapse, is there a way to reduce the number of Synapse-related processes that show around 18 in Task Manager?
