Reseller won’t respect warranty


I bought a Razer basilisk about a year ago. On the first day of using it I already felt the side grip peeling off a bit, but it was barely visible so I thought I was just imagining things, after a while of using the mouse the problem started being very apparent but when I finally decided to go and ask the store for a solution COVID hit and I couldn’t go for a while. Last week I was finally able to go and they said they will look into it and I left the mouse there. Today I got a call from them, they said the mouse came back from the examination and that this problem counts as normal wear and doesn’t fall under the terms of warranty. What am I supposed to do? The grip is almost coming off at this point, normal wear or not, the grip is not supposed to come off during the warranty period....
