RZ03-0122 Switch | Razer Insider

It appears that I have mashed my keys enough that the switches might now be near the end of their lives. Recently my ‘W’ key has been acting up by randomly not sending the signal that it is being pressed. Even while the key is being held down it will randomly cut out. (yes I do play many FPS games, which is probably why the W key is the first to see this issue)

I assume this is the end of life of the key switch, is there anything else this could be caused by?
When trying to repair my switch I can’t seem to find a good replacement switch to buy. What is a good replacement switch for these? (I assume they are gen1 Razer green switches?)

Hello Begezebexhe,

I'm sorry to hear about your Razer BlackWidow Chroma key spamming issue. Were there any incidents that happened to your keyboard? e.g. spilled liquid, etc. Is there any noticeable physical damage to the device? Is it possible for you to test the device with another computer that does not have Synapse installed? Please also perform the troubleshooting in this article. If those steps didn’t help, PM me your device serial number and proof of purchase for warranty validation. Thanks!
