Screen Brightness Unable to be Changed?

My screen brightness upon startup seems fine initially, but then sets itself down quite low before I can even sign in. When pressing the Fn brightness keys the bar will pop up on screen but does not move, and says it’s around 45%. When viewing this in the display settings it says the brightness is at 80% (which it most definitely is not) and although I can move that bar, it pops back to 80% immediately after - the actual brightness does not change, just the bar does. 

 

I have clean reinstalled every driver under the sun, used all of the updating tools from Razer, and attempted to find settings related to brightness in the Bios to no avail. I’m at a loss at this point and all of the other solutions from threads online for this type of thing, like scanning for corrupted windows files (which it did find and replace) came up short. My best guess is there’s probably a Bios thing that I have missed, as the startup Razer logo and Bios menu appear at full brightness, so I don’t think it’s a hardware issue

 

My laptop is a Razerblade 16 (2023) and I haven’t had any issues with this before until starting it up and discovering the brightness issues on Thursday, Oct 10th. There were no updates that I downloaded the previous night nor that morning. 

 

Help would be appreciated before jumping to a factory reset. Thanks!

I have the same issue with my Razerblade 16 (2024). Could you solve the issue? Any help by the support here?

Alright. I did a windows update and it seems to work again for now
