Season 8 Rewards vs. Elite Dangerous Odyssey

Hi there! My squad and I are having significant trouble getting Cortex to detect Elite Dangerous. All of us purchased Elite through Steam and run it through steam. I have tried literally everything I could think of, what I read in your FAQ section, what I found online regarding other games having detection issues, etc. and I'm officially out of ideas. Unfortunately, the only way I could get my squad's time logged was by each of us running another game in the background that actually was logging the time. Troubleshooting this real-time for us cost my squad significantly in the standings. So far, all of us were online at 8pm EDT - 12am+ for the past two nights, but weren't counted as such due to this issue and I'm sure you can imagine how frustrated we have been / are. If this missing/delayed time can be corrected somehow, we would like to know how and we will help in any way we can. Otherwise, any other advice and help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
