Seiren Elite makes noise
Just got a new Seiren Elite microphone. My concern is that it's making it's own white noise. It becomes very loud if you turn up the gain knob on the microphone, but even with it all the way down it's still noticeable. So the microphone is in a completely quiet room and its recording white noise. I tried it with 2 different PCs and different usb ports - no difference. It's also very well heard through it's monitoring audio out. Turning the high pass filter on and off doesn't do anything either.
The only way to get rid of it is through program noise filters. But it kind of messes the sound up.
Is my microphone defective or do all of them do this?

Mine seems to be doing exactly the same, I was expecting great audio but my friends say it sounds worse than the mic on my thresher 7.1, which makes absolutely no sense. It seems to be creating this weird humming noise even though I'm in a completely silent room. its a good metre or so from my PC as well so it can't be that.
