Seiren X will not operate

Seiren X will not operate. I've plugged it directly into a USB. i set it as the default. My laptop makes a sound whenever I plug a new device. The only way I know this connects is because of the green light and it showing up in the system. It will not operate as a microphone or speaker. my laptop is picking it up. No sound comes out. it's not picking up my voice as a microphone. Its not sending out sounds as a speaker. Seiren X will not operate I've plugged it into other devices. One thing it does: when I plug in earplugs, I can hear the sound. Help

    I’m having the same issue with my 9 year old Seiren. When I plug it into the PC, I can hear myself with a headphone plugged into the microphone, so I know it is still working. It just doesn’t seem to transfer it to the PC for some reason...
