Settings in Synapse not applying?

Hi there, I recently got myself a Razer Blackshark V2 Pro and so I installed Synapse with it. But whenever I change any settings regarding sound or the mic, it doesn't seem to be changing anything as when I change sound settings I can't tell any difference on what I hear and for the mic, while on Discord call, my friends can't tell any difference applying any enhancements or even changing the mic EQ. Can anyone help? Thank you
