Some keys are not working properly | Razer Insider
Skip to main content

When I press certain keys, they're unresponsive intermittently. Sometimes they function, and other times they don't. If I continuously press the faulty key, it doesn't register all inputs. Hence, I suspect it might be a software or firmware malfunction.

I've maintained good keyboard hygiene, ruling out dirt as a issue.

Test:

ggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg - this is a span of 10 seconds of constantly pressing the faulty G key.

They keyboard is Razer Widow Chroma (the original).

Thank you!

Hi lightstate,

Let me assist you with your Razer BlackWidow Chroma having a key spamming issue. Have you noticed this problem while the Razer Synapse 3 is running in the background? Please try to follow the troubleshooting steps in this article, and if the steps don’t work, PM with your keyboard serial number so I can provide additional workarounds to fix it. All the best!
