Speakers Not Detected: Razer Leviathan V2

Hi Everyone. My "Razer Leviathan V2 PC Gaming Soundbar with Subwoofer" arrived today, but I cannot get my computer to detect it. It looks like all I need to do is plug it in by USB and let windows take care of the rest. I have tried:
  • Installing Synapse 3 (the one that supports this particular speaker).
  • Restarting my computer (Synapse still says "Please Connect a Device" after restart).
  • Using 4 different USB ports in the back and one in the front. This includes the port which used to connect my mouse, just to exclude the possibility of something being wrong with my motherboard's USB ports.
  • Installing Synapse 3 on a laptop, connecting the speakers and restarting the laptop.
  • Trying a different USB A <-> USB C cable.
  • Updating Synapse. Repairing Synapse.
  • Going to the device manager and running "Scan for hardware changes".
    • Note: The device doesn't appear in the device manager either.
  • Restarting the soundbar between these steps.
  • Disconnecting the subwoofer.
Another note is that pressing the bluetooth button doesn't put the device into pairing mode as the manual suggests is should (it doesn't appear to do anything). However, the power button does work as it should (turning the device off and on), the RGB is cycling and the "source" and "power" lights are lit up in green. I've just found the "Device Detection Troubleshooting Tool", though it says to ensure the device is detected under the device manager and contact support if it's not (I'll do that now). I'm keen to hear if there's anything obvious I may have missed! Perhaps a conflict with antivirus (Sophos) or other audio drivers could be the culprit?

    So, even though I restarted my PC a few times during installation - and could neither get the speakers detected or bluetooth button to respond throughout that - the speakers were fine the following day without having made any changes. I don't know what changed, but I am now happy for this thread to be closed.

    what did you do to get this issue resolved?
    I'm having the exact same issue, working just fine, I go to sleep wake up go to watch as normal and no sound no detection I tried practically everything.

    I just had this issue and want to write here so that it might help others or i can refer back when it happens again. I suspect it’s due to firmware update or something…

    I read from reddit that you’ll need to move it and plug into another wall plug to make it work again. I tried that at first which doesn’t work, but then I tried to power cycle it (turn off the plug and try to turn on the soundbar, you’ll see the light turns on even when power is off). Wait until lights is off, then turn back on the power and turn on the soundbar and it should work. This issue is really a flaw probably in hardware part. Hopes razer looks into this.

    After a long convertation with CHAT GPT . 

    I did everything and eventually after doing the restart of windows management istrumentation and restarting my computer the speaker connected .  may be the solution . 

    ### Restarting the Windows Management Instrumentation Service:

    **Opening Services Management:**

    1. Press the `Windows + R` keys to open the "Run" dialog box.
    2. Type `services.msc` and press `Enter`.

    **Restarting the Service:**

    1. Find the service **"Windows Management Instrumentation"** in the list of services.
    2. Right-click on it and select **"Restart"**.

     

    also check Device Install Service and do the same

    The simple fix that worked for me.

    1. Make sure you're using synapse 3 and are up to date.
    2. Update Windows
    3. Motherboards that are not new from the last year don't transfer data through USB-C ports even with a drivers up to date, they only do power. What I did was buy a USB-C to USB-A adapter (USB-C female, USB-A male). Make sure the adapter is USB 3.0 compatible. Plug the adapter into a USB 3.0 outlet directly into your motherboard (not into a hub).
    4. Turn on the sound bar and Synapse 3 should detect it.

    P.S. Synapse/Croma beta should work too but I use the synapse 3 software.

    I just had this problem. Razor Leviathan V2 with woofer turned on but system could not detect it. 

    Solution: 

    Press + and - volume buttons together with the power button for maybe 5 to 10secs. I think this performs a hard reset. 

    Plug out everything and REPLUG THE SOUNDBAR ONLY to a wall power socket. No extension cables, DIRECT to wall power socket. 

    Then reconnect everything and plug by USB to your pc again. 

    Viola!

    so mine detects fine but after like 45 mions on apple music itll “dioscconect from computer” but still; connected thru razer and the green lihgtsn on souynd bar never discnecct
