SSD upgrade - Razer RZ09-01161E32 Will not power on with new SSD

Howdy! I put in a new M.2 NVME 512GB upgrade SSD (Pioneer) into my razer laptop. It will not power on, or give me any options for booting. I checked the new SSD in an external enclosure with my PC and it can be recognized, formated, etc and works fine. When I re-install the old 256 Samsung SSD, the laptop boots and works fine. Any suggestions? Thanks, --Joe
