Static, White Screen, Sound

Needs some help. Razor 15. Playing games (any game), I hear a static sound then screen goes white. Game is still running, I have sound, but have to lose it and re-boot. Happens 2 - 3 times a session. NVIDIA says drivers up to date. Any ideas?
