Stopped Working after Synapse 3 update, Kraken TE USB Controller

StopherSylvia
So I have a Kraken TE with the USB Audio Controller that lets me use the Surround Sound feature in Synapse. After I updated Synapse 3, everything went downhill. (I'm using a Windows 10 PC btw) I was listening to music using my headphones, through the USB Audio Controller, and Synapse said it had an update. I downloaded it and once it was finished I joined a Discord call. I couldn't hear anything and no one could hear me. After some time I found that a new Audio Device had shown up in my Sound Control Panel. Photo of my Sound Control Panel: https://i.ibb.co/YTJWyJ8/Capture.png By changing my Audio Device to the device I marked as 1, I was able to use my Kraken normally. Few days later I realized none of Synapse's settings are being applied. Surround Sound, Equalizer, ect. So after looking around in my PC's settings and Synapse's settings I discovered the issue. The Audio Device I marked as 2 in the picture above was what I was using before the Synapse update and Synapse now says this message. https://i.ibb.co/42p8s85/image.png Which if I click the button provided it changes my default audio device to the device I marked as 2. However, while the Sound Control Panel shows that sound is playing through Audio Device 2, I can not hear anything but my Microphone still works. So to me this appears that something happened between Windows and Synapse during the update that created Audio Device 1 and associated my USB Audio Controller to that device, however Synapse believes my USB Audio Controller is Audio Device 2, thus my settings in Synapse are not being applied to the correct Audio device. Does anyone know a way to remedy this? I already contacted Customer Support about this, however that went horribly. (I'll explain in comments)

Same problem but i have also that the sound is muffled and the bass slider doesn't work.

I am having the same issue with my Kraken 7.1 V2 Mercury. since this last update the old razen Synapse no longer see my head set. i have to go into device and printers to see it with a caution symbol next to the name. I then have to run the trouble shooter and reboot the PC. This has been happening since the april synapse 3 update

Hello! If you have sound muffled by using THX - spatial as a default device, try to set up an equalizer. Use this set up ( on the screen, this is mine one - it helped to resolve the muffled sound for me) and adjust for yourself in future if it helps.=)

Hey everyone! Thanks for posting your headset's concern here? Was everything covered? Should Zabania's suggestion didn't work, feel free to send me a PM together with your device's serial number. I'll pick it up from there.
