Stream Controller X continued support

The Loupedeck software has been updated now a few times, and the Razer plugin hasn’t been updated to support the latest software. Is Razer currently working on or planning on updating the plugin? I’m considering buying another Stream Controller, however that depends on whether Razer will continue to support these devices with software updates going forward.

Same problem here. Razer Key Light Plugin stoped working months ago. Razer Stream Controler is still on Version 5.9.1 while Loupedeck itself has 6.0.5. Release.

Loupedeck Release Notes:

  • Razer Stream Controller X  - Recommended to remain on version 5.9.1 as Razer plugins have not been updated to be compatible with 6.0 and later versions

I spend a lot of money to have a “all Razer Setup” - now the Stream Controller x is nearly useless because i cant control my Razer Key Lights……...

Came here to comment that I have everything working on 5.9.1 but I am hoping this will be resolved soon as Loupedeck is now pushing version 6.1.0.22124. Razer, please let us know when the plugins have been updated so we can use the up to date version of software for our streaming devices!!!

I also had everything working on 5.9.1 with my stream controller and stream controller X. Now none of the plugins I used previously are present. Simple things like setting the default audio device no longer work. I assume this is related to loupedeck and logitech merger however this is your product too razer and you should release some fixes.

Razer Support just informed me that the responsibility for the plugins lies with Razer. They claim to be working on revising the plugins so that they function with 6.0. I wrote back, pointing out that 6.1 is already out... 6.0 was released on October 1, 2024. It's a shame that Razer hasn't managed to revise 4 small plugins in 6 months to work with the current Loupedeck software. I'm curious to see if new plugins will really be available soon. And if they will also work for 6.1... or if Razer will need another 6 months for that. I actually have the impression that Razer wouldn't have even addressed the issue at all without my long and frequent correspondence with support... Very disappointing...

In the meantime, I wish I could just make a Loupedeck out of it through software and just delete it from the Synapse software

It would be nice if that helped me. But I foolishly bought two Razer Key Lights Chroma... and I can't control them without the Razer Plugin for the Stream Controller 😔
