I have a Razer Atheris mouse (on Windows 10) that needs an update. I try to use this guide https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3711/~/razer-atheris-%7C-rz01-02170-support-%26-faqs but at step 9 I get stuck. There is no DfuMadison in the bluetooth settings.
I found multiple people with the same issue but no answer.
My mouse is stuttering like hell so I would like to be able to test the update before buying a new one.

Other 2.4GHz devices such as WiFi, Bluetooth can interfere with the dongle signal, interrupting it. Also USB 3.0 devices can interfere with 2.4GHz (long but great article about this): https://www.usb.org/sites/default/files/327216.pdf
So you can try changing 2.4Ghz channel on router, to a different one for test, and put the 2.4GHz mouse dongle as far as possible from other USB 3.0 devices and power outlets (that can interfere with the signal too).
+1Is there a chance it was added before and it’s already on the “known” bt device list (it’s under Other devices in windows settings → bluetooth). If yes, remove the device, restart PC and try again. The same thing you can do from windows device manager - expand the bluetooth device list (you can also enable viewing hidden devices from “view” tab).

+1I’d try to check the enter FW update combination on mouse again, and check if other PC will find it (even you should see the DfuMadison on any phone that have bt).
