The battery on my razer blade 15 laptop is swollen - there is a bulge in the middle of the keyboard/trackpad area leading to the laptop being unable to close properly. I’m unsure how to proceed with repairs as the razer support website sends me in loops and my warranty has expired.

I need the laptop for work so am hoping to get this fixed as soon as I can, hopefully with a replacement battery. I am based in London, UK. Would be grateful for any and all suggestions!

I am also located in Australia with a very similar issue, though in my case my device and battery are only approximately ten months old at the time of this post. I believe that, provided the battery is not excessively old and has been used normally, you and I would be eligible for a free remedy under Australian Consumer Law. Unfortunately, it appears that Razer do not have any specific information regarding making out-of warranty claims on their warranty policy page (even the Australian one), but in the circumstances above, you should still be able to claim. However, you have stated that your device is two and a half years old at the time of your original post, and if the battery is that old as well, it will be approaching the expected maximum lifetime of a battery, so a replacement may need to be paid for in your case.

Same here I discover it after 1 year and 7 months by chance and i dont know when this happen> and the want charge me 150 usd for the battery
