SWTOR headset not seen in new win7 install

I just installed win7 on this new PC. PC has done all the windows updates(even though win7 is no longer supported by MS) This PC has never seen any Razer products before. I installed synapse v2 and it updated over the internet. Plugged in the headset and synapse does not see the headset... Now what Thanks

How does the headset appear in the Device Manager? I highly recommend testing the headset on another machine to make sure it still works, as it is fairly old at this point. Do send me the serial number so I can help you with troubleshooting. *Thread locked to curb the conversation to PMs.
