Synapse 2.0 Will not open

I am in a position where I have an Orbweaver Chroma and it is unusable. All the keybinds and macros that I set up are no longer in use and the product has reverted to default. I am unable to open Synapse 2.0 to correct anything or reset my keybinds/macros. Any help/advice would be amazing as I love the Orbweaver. I have tried multiple reinstalls and it will not open

I am having a similar issue, except my Orbweaver changes to the original profile while i am playing.

It is crazy. It is so frustrating as I love my Orbweaver. I am sure it is all to do with Synapse 2.0.

Guys, I had the same problem, out of sheer frustration I installed Synapse 3... Synapse 2 started working. Synapse 3 also has a Legacy Synapse 2 button... note, must have Synapse 2 installed first.

well this is about Synapse 2, did you install Synapse 2 before installing Synapse 3?

Iai I am fully aware of what this is about this is my post. I have tried various ways of installing Synapse 2.0 including via Synapse 3. Synapse 2.0 has major issues for me and I don't know why. It worked for a week and now it just will not open. Its crazy.

Hey everyone! Thanks for posting your concern here. Have you checked whether your computer's anti-virus or firewall is blocking any files from Razer? Have you also checked the Razer Synapse settings under "Services"? If you haven't, please right-click the start button at the bottom left and search "Services.msc". Ensure that all Razer-related services status is "Started" and the startup type" is set to "Automatic" Feel free to send me a PM should you need additional assistance.

I have checked an all is setup fine and it states that Synapse is running but I am still unable to access the software to manage my Orbweaver. I have a support case open and I am getting asked to do the same things over and over again yet I am still having issues.

I found the root cause of the issue for me... but not the solution. In the Synapse logs, one will see:
2020-05-26 08:25:24,530 [SynapseMain::19360] DEBUG Razer.Emily.UI.CommonConfigNativeOps [(null)] - loadDLL from C:\\ProgramData\\Razer\\Synapse\\Devices\\RazerConfigNative.dll 2020-05-26 08:25:24,535 [SynapseMain::19360] ERROR Razer.Emily.UI.CommonConfigNativeOps [(null)] - IsSignedByRazer failed. 2020-05-26 08:25:24,538 [SynapseMain::19360] DEBUG Razer.Emily.UI.CommonConfigNativeOps [(null)] - lodDLL failed, path=C:\\ProgramData\\Razer\\Synapse\\Devices\\RazerConfigNative.dll, error=183 2020-05-26 08:25:24,540 [SynapseMain::19360] DEBUG Razer.Emily.UI.CommonConfigLoader [(null)] - StartConfig::Failed to load the common configurator, path=C:\\ProgramData\\Razer\\Synapse\\Devices\\RazerConfigNative.dll, vers=2.46.0.0 2020-05-26 08:25:24,548 [SynapseMain::19360] DEBUG Razer.Emily.UI.SynapseApp [(null)] - UpdateChecker:: Started, Expire @ 05-26 08:27:24,
Looking at the DLL info, it is version 2.46.0.0 it is not signed and has last been updated in 5/15/2015. This is a bug in the latest version of Synapse 2... Can we get this DLL from somewhere else?

ISSUE After the installation and automatic update of Synapse 2.21.24.10, the UI will not open. In the logs (C:\\ProgramData\\Razer\\Synapse\\Logs\\Synapse_***.log), one will see the following repeated every time one tries to launch the UI:
2020-05-26 09:36:27,877 [SynapseMain::20440] DEBUG Razer.Emily.UI.CommonConfigNativeOps [(null)] - loadDLL from C:\\ProgramData\\Razer\\Synapse\\Devices\\RazerConfigNative.dll 2020-05-26 09:36:27,881 [SynapseMain::20440] ERROR Razer.Emily.UI.CommonConfigNativeOps [(null)] - IsSignedByRazer failed. 2020-05-26 09:36:27,882 [SynapseMain::20440] DEBUG Razer.Emily.UI.CommonConfigNativeOps [(null)] - lodDLL failed, path=C:\\ProgramData\\Razer\\Synapse\\Devices\\RazerConfigNative.dll, error=183 2020-05-26 09:36:27,883 [SynapseMain::20440] DEBUG Razer.Emily.UI.CommonConfigLoader [(null)] - StartConfig::Failed to load the common configurator, path=C:\\ProgramData\\Razer\\Synapse\\Devices\\RazerConfigNative.dll, vers=2.46.0.0 2020-05-26 09:36:27,886 [SynapseMain::20440] DEBUG Razer.Emily.UI.SynapseApp [(null)] - UpdateChecker:: Started, Expire @ 05-26 09:38:27,
SOLUTION Upgrade the RazerConfigNative.dll to vers=2.58.201.800 or later Hopefully, there is a better way to get the newer DLL, but one way is to install RazerSurround 2.0.29, which includes Synpase 2.x. Then, once the installation completes, uninstall Razer Surround - it will keep Synpase 2, and will grant you RazerConfigNative.dll vers=2.58.201.800. http://dl.razer.com/drivers/Surround/win/RazerSurroundInstaller_v2.0.29.20.exe CAUSE The DLL bundled with the latest Synapse 2 install kit contains RazerConfigNative.dll vers=2.46.0.0, which is not signed by Razer. This will cause the UI to fail to load, but the application will be running in the background correctly.
