Synapse 3 app on MacBook Pro not detecting BlackWidow Elite keyboard.
hi, I have a MacBook Pro 2019 running the latest software Big-Sur. and since it only has usb-c ports I am using an adapter to have it connected to the MacBook. But when I installed the Synapse 3 application for MAC and opened it, the application won't detect the keyboard, it says "please connect a synapse enabled device". I've also tried connecting the keyboard to the windows laptop my dad owns through the same USB-c Hub and it seems to be working fine. which brought me to a conclusion that there is no problem in using a USB-c hub. on the other hand I've also tried adding profiles to the keyboard memory through my dad's laptop but once I connected it back to my MacBook the profiles won't work. since there is no problem with using a usb-c hub with windows laptop, I assume that it should also work just fine with the MacBook Pro. I urge the dev team to fix this issue because there are a lot of MacBook users who would love to use these keyboards will complete RGB controls. Please please please fix this!!!

there is currently no version for synapse 3 on macs so I'm assuming you downloaded synapse 2. synapse 2 only works with old razer hardware so that may be the problem as your keyboard is probably a 2015+ keyboard. If you are looking to control the rgb lights on mac I recommend this program https://github.com/1kc/razer-macos

I don't have a fix for the controls - I run into the same issue with Synapse as well. I'm actually fine with the colors doing whatever they want to do. Are you having any issues with the keyboard not waking up after the machine suspends (like I am)? If not do you mind telling me what version of DisplayLink driver you are using and which USB-C hub? I'm hoping I can get rid of this key spamming issue that requires me to disconnect and reconnect.

Razer customer care usually very responsive, in this case they are in complete radio silence. please update for Mac OS big Sur
