Synapse 3 causing mouse to freeze

Hello, I recently installed synapse 3, and it causes my deathadder chroma to sporadically freeze and stop responding. The only way to fix it is to unplug and plug it back in again, but it only works for a while. I understand that the device isn't supported, but I thought that it just pertained to the chroma effects, not the core functionality of the mouse. Is there any way to fix this without uninstalling the application? Thanks!
