Synapse 3 Install Error: Server Unreachable

Hi all,

I bought 2 Razer Products today, and i also want to use the nice RBG effects - downloaded the installer and tried to install failed - did some stuff (Changing Firewall Settings and so on)

I also contacted support - they told me to contact Windows Support.

(Sorry nice try but this is not how software works)

After some fiddling around, i found the reason in the installation log - the razer server is returning an error while trying to download the manifest (found in the Stack Trace)

2019-03-09 20:29:09,844 [7] ERROR RazerInstaller [(null)] - Error downloading file (https://manifest.razerapi.com/api/legacy/igB7y0WY/prod/productlist/get): Der Remoteserver hat einen Fehler zurückgegeben: (500) Interner Serverfehler.
System.Net.WebException: Der Remoteserver hat einen Fehler zurückgegeben: (500) Interner Serverfehler.
bei System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse()
bei Razer.RazerInstallerCommon.ServerManifestDownloader.DownloadFile(String url, String destination, String fileName, String& errorMessage, Exception& exception, Boolean overwrite, UInt32 retries)

-- Yeah i know the error msg itself is in German but it means: Remote server retuned with error: (500) Internal Server error.


Are there any (known) fixes for this? Because contacting the razer support via chat is pretty pointless.

If needed i can also attach the whole error log with the full stack trace...

Hi @Insaxyz. I checked our system and I don't see any downtime reports during the week of this posting. Have you successfully installed the app yet? If the issue persists, please send me a PM with the log attached and I'd be happy to help you sort things out.
