Like many others have reported, I have had 2 Naga that have had issues after updating to Synapse 4. They both stopped working then showed up as a drive named CRP_Disabld. Razer support has given me the runaround about fixing them. They have told me that Synapse cannot do anything to affect the mice. I had recently updated a system to Synapse 4. The first symptom I noticed before the mice stopped working was the lights flickering. Then eventually they stopped working at all.
I got my hands on a working LH Naga and did some testing. I have 4 windows computers, two are running Synapse 3, two are on Synapse 4. On the Synapse 3 computers, the Naga is working perfectly with no issues. However, the Synapse 4 systems cause the flickering. I have tested the mouse directly on the computers with no hubs, etc. What I also found is that one one computer with synapse 4, I had never connected the LH Naga on it before. It worked normally UNTIL I opened Synapse 4 and it installed the LH Naga driver/components and whatever else it needed. THEN the mouse started flickering. I then plugged it into a Synapse 3 computer, and it worked normally. I uninstalled Synapse 4 on the other computer, and with no Synapse software installed, the mouse is now working normally, with no flickering.
Razer, you need to address whatever big there is in your software. Then you need to find a a way to patch the firmware or replace mice for affected users. This has been an ongoing issue affecting old and new mice. The LH Naga is the only version without a firmware patcher available on the site.
