Synapse 4 shows Firmware update available, but Firmware is up to date

This might be related to this issue.

I have Synapse 4 installed on my Razer Blade 16. Yesterday, the app updated itself to version 1.1.97. It now shows an available firmware update:

 

Clicking on “Latest version: 1.1.1.3” does nothing. And opening the Firmware update link on the dashboard in Synapse directs me to this page that does not list the update in question:
 

 

The Firmware on my Blade is up to date however. Only the Bios updater refuses to update from 2.02 (current) to v2.03 (but that is another issue I guess).

Is this a bug in Synapse?

Ok, I did not expect to resolve this myself, but apparently, the bios update was the “required firmware update”.
I had to setup windows for a clean boot, than I could update my Blade’s bios. 

After the update, Synapse doesn’t show the update notification anymore, so I assume that this resolved the issue. Although, it is weird that Synapse cannot point to the exact update (or even readily download it), leaving the user puzzled as to what update exactly is required.

I had to setup windows for a clean boot, than I could update my Blade’s bios.
