Synapse disabling my volume wheel

So, I received the halo infinite blackwidow keyboard and been loving it, but then one day the volume adjuster stopped working and I thought I did something that screwed the keyboard up. I tried manually reversing the volume wheel directions in synapse and that didn't work. In fact, the wheel only worked when I pressed it into mute sound. Then one day it started to randomly work again. Then it stopped after many hours of troubleshooting, I finally realized that the only time the volume wheel would stop letting me adjust the volume was when synapse was running, I tried restarting it, deleting all profile saves and a couple other things but the only way I can get the volume to work is by closing synapse and not using it. is there any way to fix this or can I not use synapse?
