Synapse does not detect firefly V2 | Razer Insider

My mouse (mamba elite), keyboard (blackwidow elite) and headset (blackshark V2 pro) are all displayed in synapse fine, but my (new) Firefly V2 mouse-mat is not showing in synapse despite manually un/reinstalling synapse, updating to latest version, and the reinstalling the firefly driver in windows several times (and trying new USB ports etc).

The mouse mat lights up and shows the default slowly changing rainbow colours. but i can't change it to static blue like my other devices since it doesn't appear in synapse.

My old Firefly (V1) still connects back to synapse ok

I have the same problem exactly… But I haven’t seen anyone reply to this…!!!

Any solutions or suggestions???​​​

For me the Firefly v2 began doing the rainbow loop and not being shown, I will reinstall SYnapse now and report back.

Fixed it!

  1. deinstalled Synapse
  2. CCleaner to clear registry
  3. reinstalled
  4. restarted PC

Firefly is back at it, logging in also restored old LED pattern, too!
