Synapse Keeps Changing Profile on Startup
Like the title says, my razer synapse always defaults to a specific profile i sometimes use on startup of my computer. This is annoying because, this said profile it keeps switching to, swaps my left-click function with another key.
I have tried so much to get it to stop swapping to this profile as suggested in other forums. I've tried changing the first letter to a 'Z' or a 'A'.
Right now i tried deleting it and remaking it to see if itll choose it as default again.
I use the razer deathadder elite mouse.

Can you not change the function to what you want in the profile?
First of all what version of synapse it is ? Second if its syna[se 3 you have one non link profile or more if you have more then one this is your issue if you have one cheack if other profiles dont drop link app/games from profiles section. If you have problem with synapse 2 just link profile to explorer.exe file and when you open desktop or you leave app/game it will switch when synapse detect you enter desktop and explorer with be enable in system menager.
I am using the most recent version of synapse as of today. I do not have any link profiles. I originally tried linking to explore.exe but for some reason i would have it try to change back to the profile I didn't want randomly. It was the weirdest thing, I would click on one thing and it would be fine then I would click on another thing with the same key and it would start using my macro from my other profile.
After a few days I'm pretty sure I fixed the problem. I decided to remove the profile and re-made it, which was annoying to have to do. So far nothing strange has happened and it hasnt randomly swapped to the profile on startup. Profile is named the same and has the exact same button configuration.
We will never know what the issue was I guess lol?
Got exactly the same profile switching problem with latest synapse 3 on my Tartarus v2. I have a supposed 'default' profile which is linked to 'explorer.exe' and that worked for a bit but now the synapse software has decided that my 'BF5' profile is the default and any non windows applications like firefox, e.g. not task bar, windows explorer or desktop, switch me to BF5 profile. I'll try to recreate the BF5 profile and see if that resolves
However - this is such a basic fix for the devs. Why isn't there an option to assign to only one profile that catches all apps, e.g. a DEFAULT profile? So you should be able to set any profile as default profile, but it should be a manual thing
Some Times synapse do it the best way is wipe and createevery profile you need then set-up them on the lest link them in this way they dont unlink or change settings.
