Synapse on OSX Catalina has bricked my Blackwidow Chroma!!

I got a new machine at work with Catalina on it, so I downloaded and installed Synapse 2. After rebooting, the keyboard completely bricked. No lights, nothing works. The keyboard does not work now on any other machine I have. Please tell me someone has some clue how to fix this. I have to say, this is completely unacceptable. There should be some warning in the installer if it doesn't work correctly on Catalina, let alone if there is a chance to permanently brick someone's hardware! Who the hell thought this was ok???
