Sync Razer Chroma with aRGB PC components. Help pls :)

Hey guys! So I am trying to hook up all my RGB products to all be synced. Basically, all my peripherals are Razer so no problems there. However my pc components aren't. Right now I am using MSI Dragon Center to have my fans, RAM, and MOBO lights synced. Now I saw that this item exists: https://www.razer.com/gaming-pc-accessories/Razer-Chroma-Addressable-RGB-Controller/RZ34-02140600-R3U1. This would be great for my fans. However I would be left with my RAM (and mobo, but that is neglectable). Though that is fine for right now I guess. Now when I get myself a new modular PSU, I want to get the Lian Li StrimerPlus cables. These cables have 106 LEDs at the minimum depending on which one you get. According to the site mentioned above, the Razer aRGB Controller can only have inputs of 80 LEDs per input and in total a max of 240 LEDs. This would mean that with the 24 pin and 8 pin StrimerPlus I would be at 226 LEDs total but spread over 2 inputs which should not be possible. If I were to do this, what would happen? Would some LEDs not be controllable? Would some LEDs together be read as 1 LED? Would it not work at all? Then Lian Li has it's own aRGB controller, here you can use the StrimerPlus cables. Apart from getting a ASRock Taichi Razer Edition motherboard, what would be the best solution to sync everything with each other?

    Hello. The answer to your first question is, if you have more than 80 Leds connected to one port of Razers ARGB Controller, every LED above the 80s remains unlit. You can't control them. As for your second question, I dont know much about Lian Li's Controller but it seems that the Uni Hub comes with its own Software to control ARGB. As far as i know there is no plugin for Razer Connect to sync it with Synapse. And your last question also has no good answer. The problem is that you can't connect the strimer plus 24pin to the Razer ARGB Controller, because of its 120 LEDs. So the only thing that comes to my mind, if you dont want to buy ASRock and dont want to stick to MSI's Mystic Light which is integratable into Synapse through Razer Connect, is to use Asus MBs with Asus Aura and use AuraConnect for Razer Synapse sync. But unfortunatly AuraConnect is a bit clunky in terms of Wave-Effects for example. So its not optimal. Another drawback is that you can't control single LEDs on your Aura connected devices when using AuraConnect. You can only sync all LEDs as a whole. I dont know how MSI integrates into Razer Synapse. But i think its similar. If you want to stick with your peripherals from Razer and Razer Synapse/Chroma i think it is nearly impossible to find the optimal solution to keep everything in sync with different Brands, except buying ASRock's Taichi Razer Edition.

    I was afraid this would be the case. Thanks for your response though! One thing you said though is "MSI's Mystic Light which is integratable into Synapse through Razer Connect". How? Under the connect tab I have MSI Mystic Light active, but it doesn't seem to matter what I do there. Do I need to uninstall MSI Dragon Center? Should I change some other settings? Because you say this, I feel like if it works, shouldn't my G.Skill RAM and Lian Li fans also be in sync? Cause the site below mentions G.Skill and Lian Li https://www2.razer.com/chroma-workshop-connected-devices

    G.Skill for example has its own software. This has the option to connect to Razer Chroma. But as far as i know, this should also be possible with G.Skill RAM connected to Mystic Light which is itself connected to Razer Synapse. Don't know why this doesn't work for you. I don't own a MSI Motherboard. I only read several times, that Mystic Light officially supports Razer Chroma integration. And therefore connected devices should be synced with Razer Chroma. Downside of Mystic Light integration is that all connected devices to Mystic Light are treated as single device in Chroma. So you can't control single LEDs or even seperate devices. Maybe there is something wrong with your installation either of Razer Synapse or Mystic Light. On the other hand it also seems that software, no matter if it is from Razer, ASUS, MSI or whomever, can be some kind of buggy when it comes to integration in or from other Eco-Systems. So i don't know whats the problem in your case...

    I see... too bad there's no live chat support anymore from Razer (or MSI for that matter) so I could get help there... Anyways, thanks again for your response! It at least clears up some of the questions I have, and I can look into it further now :)
