Tartarus Pro default forward and back controller keys do not work

...in any of my games. I'm wondering, do they work in anyone's, and if so, what games. That's the purpose of this post. Here is my story:

I was specifically attracted to the promised optical analog features of the Tartarus Pro. I bought it and began using it about Feb 26, 2021.

In the games that I have where the switch to the default keymap controller option can work at all, I have to reprogram the forward and back keys to W and S. Doing so seems to negate the optical analog features, the primary reason that I bought this promising looking keypad. I still have a perfectly functional Orbweaver Chroma that works with all my games through a different Synapse software program, but of course doesn't coordinate lighting with my other Razer devices.

The Default right left keys work in some games, like Cyberpunk 2077 and Far Cry 5, while the default forward and back (controller left joystick up and left joystick down) are not recognized in any games. Seems like a Synapse software issue. Games are not getting the message that these are controller signals. Other default keymap controller keys work.

It appears that the Tartarus Pro keypad is recognized as a game pad controller by all my games when plugged in. For two -- Bethesda games: Skyrim and Fallout 4 -- I am forced to go into the pref ini files and edit them so that the line gamepad=1 is changed to gamepad=0. Default is gamepad=1. If I don't, I have no other controls at the main menu. I have to use controller buttons on the keypad. In the game the mouse works but is virtually worthless for looking. That's apparently a game programming issue with a game that only allows controller or mouse and keypad, not both.

Other problems I've had, I don't know if there is some correlation (and I've noted others are having this problem on a thread on this board) the movement control keys seem to toggle on randomly and stay on until I tap them again. Again, this may have something to do with Synapse 3 software communication in the games.

Also I can't link games to Chroma Studio profiles in the Profile section. When Synapse looks for games for Chroma Studio it stays hung up on searching so I can't manually direct it to the game folders. I have no problem like that with the other devices.

In my Synapse 3 program I have three devices:
Razer Cynosa Chroma keyboard
Razer Mamba Wireless mouse
Tararus Pro Keypad
