Tartarus Pro - recognized by Synapse but inputs not recognized by game

I just received my new Tartarus Pro. Downloaded Synapse software, plugged it in, and was able to program the Tartarus for use with the gam I'm currently play (Hell Let Loose). Also associated HLL with that key mapping for the Tarturus. No issues. (FYI, I also have a Razer DeathAdder mouse and Razer Kraken X headset, both of which work fine.)

But when I boot up the game, none of the inputs from the Tartarus are recognized. The keyboard (Corsair) I am using is providing the inputs that I want to come from the Tartarus. I haven't tried uplugging the keyboard, but that is not what I consider an acceptable solution since I don't think I should have to unplug one peripheral to use another - never had to and don't want to start now.

So, can someone help me figure out what I need to do to get HLL (or another app) to recognize inputs from the Tartarus. Like I said, Synapse sees the inputs, and allowed me to remap the keys, no problem.

Thanks for any and all help
I have the same issue trying to use this controller for Star Wars Battlefront 2 on PC.

The Viper Ultimate mouse sometimes works, and the Wolverine Tournament Pro does not even show in Synapse and is nearly useless in the game (way, way to touchy and no focus). I basically bought three controllers to enjoy the game, and none are useful at this point.
I have this same issue with World of Tanks.
