I have a Tartarus v2 (RZ07-0227) that ive used for the last few years, hadnt had any issue with it at all. I saw on the synapse that 3 was being retired for 4 and i bit the bullet. fully uninstalled 3 downloaded and installed 4, plugged it in and it lights up fine so i didnt play anything right away so i just thought all was normal. finally went to played something later that night and only buttons 17-20, the scroll wheel and the dpad work. synapse doesnt recognize any of the buttons or even the profile change button. i uninstalled 4 and reinstalled 3, tried on my laptop and rog ally. nothing has fixed the issue. what can i do?

Tartarus v2 keys stopped working after update to Synapse 4
Same Issue.. if anyone know how to fix this.. all my keys are not working only the joystick, and 20
all you have to do it DISCONNECT the TARTARUS FROM USB and go into razer synapse and on SYNAPSE page go to DEVICES AND MODULES and find the Tartarus device and go to the right and click REMOVE. it will delete the device and when you plug back the Tartarus it will redownload the files and BOOM it started working for me like it use to. My theory is that when Synapse updated it copied over the user profiles and duplicated them resulting in an error on which profile to use so it just defaults to its factory button layout. hope this helps
