It's a Radeon 5600 XT, and it just shows up as a yellow-banged "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter" no matter what driver version I have installed. The description reads "Error 31: Unable to load driver" and something to the effect of "the driver loaded is not the same driver as the one reported during POST".

The laptop is a 16" MBP and I've followed the eGPU.io step by step to the letter, but I just get this error no matter what I do. It also seems like I'm the only person on the entire planet with this problem as Google turns up nothing and the guys over on eGPU don't seem to know either.

So I turn to you guys, anyone seen anything like this?

It works flawlessly in MacOS so I don't think it's a hardware issue.
