The USB Type-C port on my Razer blade 15 doesn't work

Currently, I think I have the razer blade 15 advanced model (from 2018 w/ the 1070 max-q) and I've been happy with it up until now. I decided to buy a USB type-c hub which I believe, correct me if I'm wrong, was compatible with this device but when I plugged the dongle into my laptop, it constantly made reconnecting and disconnecting noises that you hear when unplugging and replugging in a USB. My dongle also has an led on it that is supposed to light up when plugged in and connected but I noticed the light was flickering when I plugged this into my device. I ruled out that this was definitely not a problem from the dongle because I plugged it into my dell XPS which it worked fine on and the light on the hub was on without any flickering. I tried to get help from the Razer online chat but I think they recently stopped giving free support chats because they now check if your device is out of warranty before you can even talk to the support reps(which is absurd). Do you guys have any solutions for me? Things I've tried: 1. Uninstalling all USBs in Device managers 2. restarted my device several times

Btw, the USB type-c dongle I'm using is called "USB Type-C Hub Pro" made by FlePow. Here's the link: https://www.amazon.com/USB-Hub-Multiport-Adapter-Compatible/dp/B07RL5L8ZL
