Thunderbolt 4 Dock Support
Ok, just got and plugged in my Thunderbolt 4 Dock. Everything works except locating external displays (the main purpose behind a dock). USB 3.0s all work, Ethernet works, Audio works, SD card reader works. Here is the setup I have and hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
PC: Asus Zenbook Pro (UX550GEX)
Windows 10 Pro
Intel core i9 8th gen
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050ti
Monitors:
3 x Asus VA27E (27" FHD 1080p) Nothing fancy
Cables:
3 x USB-C to HDMI (ordered through Amazon)
I've plugged each cable into the spare USB-C port of my computer and get display through that, so that rules out cables. You get the Windows chime for a device being disconnected and reconnected when I unplug and plug back in the monitor cables from the back of the dock, but no response from the monitors, nor can they be seen in Device Manager.
Drivers are all up to date as far as anything that Windows can find on it's own. Was using a Plugable USB-C Triple 4k dock before, but it was buggy and the main reason to giving this Razer one a try. Everything worked fine when it wasn't glitching out (which was frequently).
Razer phone support was less than helpful, though I think there was a misunderstanding of the symptom and configuration. I have a support ticket open as well, so if I hear back on that before I do here, I'll update this with the solution.
