THX, DTX:X Ultra, Razer Leviathan | Razer Insider

Hi,

I have a Razer 15 Advanced (w/Razer THX Spatial Audio) and a Razer Leviathan, and I'm trying to figure out the best audio settings. Since the Razer laptop doesn't have optical out, I'm using the 3.5mm plug in the Leviathan. My options for setup include:

  • Dolby off on the Leviathan, sound the Razer THX Spatial on the laptop.

  • Dolby off on the Leviathan, sound through Realtek with DTX:X Ultra processing enabled

  • Realtek on the laptop with no spatial sound enabled, and Dolby enabled on the Leviathan.

I'm assuming I should not stack spatial sound on the laptop with Dolby on the soundbar. But I'm struggling to understand which of these three should really be my best audio setup (specifically for gaming).

Technically I also have Dolby, which came bundled with the laptop, but I've found THX Spatial does a better job when using the laptop speakers.

Any suggestions?
