I bought a USB-C dock a while ago to simplify my setup, so I could connect all my peripherals and my 240Hz monitor with just one cable. When I first got it, everything worked perfectly: I could use it with my Mac, my gaming laptop, and my partner’s work computer without any issues.
Recently, though, my peripherals, specifically the mouse and keyboard have stopped working when I connect the dock to any laptop except my gaming PC. The laptops still charge through the dock, and the monitor connects and works fine, but the mouse and keyboard just don’t respond or get detected. Strangely, when I plug the dock into my gaming PC, everything works as expected, so it doesn’t seem like a hardware fault with the dock or the peripherals themselves.
Has anyone experienced this or have any advice on how to fix it? I’ve tried basic things like unplugging and replugging, but no luck so far.
